Articulated Dragon Mech

Part beast, part machine. This is a dragon redrawn in engineering language, with a segmented spine, plated limbs and a head that reads closer to a helmet than a skull. The mech treatment trades scales for panelling and talons for hardware, landing somewhere between a kaiju robot and the dragon off a heraldic shield. Articulated dragons have become the standard desk toy of the hobby, and the mechanical version gives the format something of its own to say. It is a fidget object first, something to pick up during a long phone call, but it holds its own standing on a monitor shelf or a bookcase next to other collected kit. Children treat it as a toy and adults treat it as an ornament they happen to keep touching. If you already own a row of organic flexi dragons, this is the one that breaks the run.
