Articulated Dragon Stache

Flexi dragons have become the standard demonstration piece of desktop 3D printing, and this one plays the joke in its name straight: a dragon with a moustache, whiskers drooping either side of the snout like something from a New Year parade crossed with a disapproving uncle. The body follows the eastern serpentine pattern rather than the western winged one, so it runs long and segmented from head to tail, ridged along the spine, reading as a chain of scales instead of a static figure with a couple of hinges in it. It is a desk toy before it is anything else: something to pick up during a long phone call, to hand to a child who has asked what the printer actually makes, or to leave on a shelf as the object every visitor ends up touching. One file, one model, nothing to assemble.
