Description

Somewhere between a creature and a machine, this is a segmented biomechanical form built from linked vertebra-like sections: ribbed carapace plates on the outside, exposed pistons and cabling running through the gaps, hinge pins carried in the geometry itself rather than added afterwards. It belongs to the print-in-place, articulated family of designs, so the chain of segments comes off the plate already jointed and the whole length folds back on itself into a compact block. That folding trick is the point of it, and it is what makes the thing hard to put down once it is sitting next to a keyboard. Desk toy first, fidget second, small sci-fi display piece third. Anyone who likes flexi dragons but wants something colder and more mechanical is the audience here.
