Articulated Gorilla

A silverback rendered as a desk creature: heavy shoulders, long forelimbs and the low knuckle-walking stance that makes gorillas read as powerful even when standing still. The proportions are the whole trick — the deep chest and narrow hips are what the eye recognises before any surface detail registers. Articulated animals have become the default fidget object for anyone who owns a printer, and a gorilla is one of the better subjects for the treatment. Where a dragon or a lizard is mostly tail, this one is bulk and attitude, so it reads as a whole animal in the hand rather than a strip of segments. It makes a decent gift, a classroom talking point or shelf company next to a monitor, and being a single file it is an easy one to run off again when the next person asks for their own.
