Description
A head-and-shoulders bust of a concrete golem, cast in board-formed slabs with a rebar collar and a blank granite visor — the sentinel the demolition crew worked around and then left standing when the building it guarded came down. Nothing on it is anatomical except a suggestion of shoulder and jaw. The armour is poured in heavy rectilinear panels that still carry the grain of the timber shuttering and the recessed dimples where the form-ties were pulled out, and the ornament is chamfered edges, exposed aggregate and honest structural joints, which is all the ornament there is. The head is a blunt bunker with one horizontal slot across it, a band of dark sandblasted granite polished only along its lip. Rust-orange oxidation bleeds down from the bar at the collar, chalky bloom sits on the upper faces, moss-green staining pools in the lower joints. The mass steps back in tight ziggurat tiers from slab shoulders to helmet, and the cut chest grows straight out of a square pad with a shallow expansion joint scored across it, one continuous pour with a fillet where the two masses meet. From across a room it reads as a single stacked block; close up it is a face that is not a face. It is a painter's object above all — flat planes and hard edges that want washes, streaking and a dry brush. WHAT YOU GET. One model, one part. The mesh is watertight and manifold, 195,672 triangles, with a bounding box of 117.098 × 63.435 × 120 mm and a solid volume of 383.4422 cm³. Bust and base are a single continuous body; the model was not cut. PRINTING IT. Slicing put it at 402 minutes with filament estimated at 148.86 g. It fits the build plate as one piece. Overhanging surface measures 14.19 percent, and the thinnest wall in the mesh is 4.448 mm. ASSEMBLY. There is none. One part, no cut faces, no pins, no glue. LICENCE. Buying the file lets you print it for yourself and for gifts, as many times as you like. Do not resell, share or redistribute the file or a modified version of it. A commercial licence covering sales of prints is sold as a separate tier. CHANGELOG. 2026-09-05 — First release. Single part, measured watertight and manifold. No photograph of a printed copy yet.
