Bubble Vase

A rounded, tumbler-shaped vase with a soft, bubbled belly. Shown here in silhouette, the form is still unmistakable: a full, gently barrelled body that swells at the middle and eases back in toward a slightly narrower mouth, resting on a scalloped, wavy foot that lifts it just clear of the surface. It is a compact, modern piece, more plump beaker than tall stem vase, with the smooth, organic curves that suit vase-mode printing so well. It is made for the spiralize workflow, which means the whole thing prints as one continuous single-wall bead: fast, tidy and genuinely mesmerising to watch. Use it dry for pampas, dried stems or a single faux bloom, or drop in a slim glass or plastic test-tube liner and it holds fresh flowers and water too. Print notes • Enable Vase or Spiralize Outer Contour: one perimeter, zero top layers, no infill and no supports. • PLA or PETG both look great; a slightly wider line width of 0.5-0.6mm stiffens the single wall. • Vase mode is not reliably watertight, so seal the inside or use a liner if you want live flowers. • A silk or gradient filament turns the rounded body into a real centrepiece, and a textured build plate gives the base a pleasant finish.
