Closer to a beaker than a bottle, this one borrows the proportions of a drinking cup and scales them up into a piece of shelf sculpture. The silhouette is straight-sided and generous, opening gently towards the rim, which gives it a grounded, settled look on a mantelpiece or a windowsill. Left empty it works as a plain sculptural form — the kind of quiet object that fills a gap on a shelf without shouting about it.
