Description
Built around the most recognisable helmet in shooter games, this is a desk stand that turns a parked joystick into part of the display. The armoured supersoldier from the Halo series provides the form, visor forward, shoulders squared, so the stick sits at the front of a small piece of sci-fi sculpture instead of lying on its side behind the keyboard. It is aimed at sim and flight-stick setups, though it earns its place equally on a gaming desk with nothing to hold, which is the second half of the appeal. Anything shaped like this is a display piece first and a stand second. A revised version of an earlier design and a multi-part build, it makes a straightforward project for a Halo fan with a printer and some empty desk to fill.
