Renegade Marine

Every grim far-future setting needs its apostates, and the renegade is the most useful of them: a warrior who kept the armour and the training but abandoned whoever issued them. That history is what a figure like this is built to show, a superhuman soldier gone to seed and to spite, plate scarred and reworked by hands that answer to nobody. Seven files make up the kit, so it assembles as a multi-part figure rather than a single sculpt, which leaves more room for choice at the bench than a one-piece model does. Scaled for 28mm heroic tabletop wargaming, it serves as a proxy for traitor infantry, as a champion or leader at the head of a warband, or simply as a single figure to paint for its own sake. Grimdark subjects tend to reward the time.
