Stacking Desk Box with Lid

A clean, modular desk box designed to actually get used. It prints as two separate parts — the box and a friction-fit lid — that slot together with a satisfying push and hold shut on their own. Print a few and they stack neatly on top of one another, so you can build a little tower of storage for whatever clutters your desk: paperclips, SD cards, spare screws, earbuds, guitar picks, cufflinks, dice. The outer shell is roughly 82 × 60 × 46 mm with softly rounded corners and a 2.4 mm wall, so it feels solid in the hand rather than flimsy. The lid drops into the mouth of the box on a recessed lip, giving a flush, seamless look when closed — no rattling, no gap. Both STLs are oriented flat on the bed and print without any supports. A 0.2 mm layer height and 3 perimeters gives the best finish; PLA or PETG both work well. If the lid comes out a touch tight or loose for your printer, it's an easy tolerance tweak — but it's dialled in for a standard 0.4 mm nozzle out of the box. What you get: two files — box.stl and lid.stl — ready to slice and go.
