Twisted Vases Fat

Wide-bodied decorative vessels with a twist running up through the form, so the surface catches light differently depending on where you stand. The word fat in the name is the whole point: these are squat, round-shouldered profiles rather than tall slim ones, the sort of shape that holds its own on a low sideboard, a hall table or a broad windowsill where a narrow vase would simply disappear. Twisted geometry has been a decorative staple since turned wood and blown glass, and it does the same job here, giving a static object the suggestion of movement. Dried stems, grasses and pampas suit the shape, though these read perfectly well left empty as sculptural forms in their own right. Two files come in the bundle.
