3D QR Code Generator

Enter a URL, WiFi credentials or any text and download a 3D printable QR code plate. Raised modules print cleanly in a second colour for a scannable, durable code — great for workshops, cafés and gifts.

Shorter content scans more reliably at small sizes.

Tip: print the base in one colour, then swap filament at the module height for a high-contrast, scannable code.

Frequently asked questions

Will the printed QR code actually scan?

Yes — as long as there is contrast between the raised modules and the base. Print the base in one colour, pause at the module height, and swap to a contrasting filament. Black on white scans best.

What can I encode?

Any URL or text up to 500 characters: website links, WiFi credentials (WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:password;;), contact cards, menus, payment links and more.

What size should I print?

60mm works for short URLs scanned at arm's length. Use 80–100mm for longer content or codes scanned from further away. Higher error correction needs more modules, so go bigger.

Does the QR code expire?

The code itself never expires — it is just geometry. It works as long as whatever it points to (your URL) stays live.
