Bake a swarm of bats and turn a tray of biscuits into Halloween. This is a bat-silhouette cookie cutter: a single-piece outline stamp with spread wings, a scalloped lower wing edge, two pointed ears and a compact body, all traced into one continuous cutting rim. The walls rise from a wide flat flange that gives your fingers something to press on, and the scalloped wing membranes are exaggerated just enough to survive in dough and read clearly once baked. The cutting edge is a clean vertical wall, so it slices sugar cookies, gingerbread, fondant and sculpting clay with a crisp bat shape every time. Print notes • Print flat on the flange, cutting edge up, with no supports. • Use food-safe PLA or PETG if it will touch dough, and keep to gentle hand-washing rather than the dishwasher. • 2–3 perimeters and 0.16mm layers give a strong, smooth cutting wall; a wider tip nozzle speeds it up without losing the outline. • Scale to taste for canapé-sized minis or a statement centrepiece cutter, and lightly sand the rim if you want an extra-clean release.
