Christmas Hat

A floppy Santa hat, fluffy pom-pom and all. This cutter outlines a Father Christmas hat flopped over to one side: a round pom-pom at the tip, a long soft-cone crown, and a deeply ruffled brim rendered as a run of scalloped waves along the lower edge to suggest the fur trim. It is a slim, mostly hollow outline with a small looped section where the bobble meets the cap. A must-have for Christmas cookie sessions — iced sugar biscuits, gingerbread and festive fondant toppers in red-and-white. The wavy fur edge gives a natural guide line when you pipe the trim, and the pom-pom is a ready-made spot for a blob of white royal icing. Print notes • Stand it up on the bed, blade edge upward, and print in food-safe PLA with a brim; the flat back means no supports are required. • The fine scalloped fur detail prints best at 0.16 mm layers with a 0.4 mm nozzle — slow the outer wall a little for clean waves. • Keep walls at three perimeters for rigidity; the long thin body can flex if printed too thin. • Wash by hand and dry immediately so the ruffled edge stays keen. • Flour the cutter before each press so the intricate trim releases cleanly from sticky dough.
