Everyone recognises the shape before they taste it: stubby arms held out, round head, two short legs, an outline that has been going into Christmas ovens since long before anyone kept a printer in the kitchen. This cutter reproduces that silhouette as a proper baking tool. It handles gingerbread first and foremost, but the same outline earns its keep with shortbread, sugar-cookie dough, salt dough for tree decorations, and fondant or modelling paste when you are dressing a cake.
