Halloween Witch and Cat Cookie Cutters

Two spooky silhouettes to press into Halloween dough: a witch and a black cat. This set brings together a pair of themed cookie cutters — one shaped as a witch, the other as a classic arch-backed cat — each built with a sharp outer cutting rim and raised interior lines that emboss a little detail into the biscuit as you press. The sample shown here is printed in pink and carries its stamp detail in relief; on a cutter that inner lettering and linework sits mirrored, which is exactly right, because it prints the correct way round into the dough. They are made for Halloween baking sessions, kids' parties and spooky bake sales, and they work just as well in fondant, sugarpaste or air-dry clay as they do in shortbread. Print notes • PLA is the usual choice; treat them as cutters rather than something you eat off directly. • Print upright on the flat cutting edge with no supports. • A thin wall around 0.4mm gives the crispest cut; add a wider band at the top for a comfortable press. • Both shapes are included as separate files, so you can print one or the whole set.
