Key Strokes

Wear your favourite band on your keys. This flat charm reproduces The Strokes' round tour-badge logo: the layered, hand-lettered 'The Strokes' wordmark sits across a circular disc, with the long tails of the letters running out past the rim in bold slabs. A loop is built into the top edge so it drops straight onto a keyring, a rucksack zip or a lanyard. Shown here in a bright gold filament, the raised type stands proud of the base and stays readable across a room. Print notes • Print flat on the bed, lettering-side up, for the cleanest faces and the strongest loop. • For two-tone lettering, add a filament change (or AMS/MMU swap) at the layer where the raised text begins. • A 0.2 mm layer height is plenty; bump the top layer count if you want the letter faces perfectly smooth. • Check the loop hole clears your keyring split-ring, and chamfer it lightly so the ring slides on without catching.
