Keychain Minion Dave

One of the goggled little henchmen from the Despicable Me films, shrunk down to live on a set of keys. Dave is among the handful of minions the films bother to name, which is much of the appeal here: fans of the series pick a favourite, and a keyring is the cheapest way to carry one about. The trick with a charm this size is recognisability, and the minion silhouette manages it easily. The capsule body, the strap goggles and the dungarees register instantly, even when the thing is competing for space with a car fob and a front-door key. That makes it a dependable party-bag filler, stocking filler or end-of-term present, and an obvious candidate for running off in a batch when several children each want their own. It works equally well as a bag charm or zip pull for anyone who finds a full keyring too bulky to carry.
