Skull Cookie Cutter

Bake a batch of little skulls for Halloween or a Day-of-the-Dead spread. This is a skull-shaped cookie cutter: a rounded cranium tapering to a jaw, with internal cutting blades that press out two eye sockets, a triangular nose cavity and a row of blocky teeth in a single stamp. The outer wall gives the clean skull outline while the inner detail cutters emboss the face, so one press does the whole design at once. It is made for biscuit dough, fondant, gum paste, sugar cookies — even air-dry clay or playdough — and suits Halloween parties, gothic-themed weddings, birthdays or spooky bake sales. Print notes: • Print upright, cutting edge down as modelled, in food-safe PLA or PETG; no supports needed. • Use a 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.16–0.20 mm layers with 3–4 perimeters so the thin blade walls come out solid and durable. • A wider flat band along the top rim makes it comfortable to press without cutting your fingers — check your slice shows that solid top. • For food use, seal with a food-safe finish or treat as single-event use, and hand-wash only; the fine tooth blades do not love a dishwasher. Scale it down for bite-size canapé cutters or up for statement biscuits, and pair it with royal icing to pick out the eyes and grin.
