Transport Carriage

In outline, a horse-drawn carriage is instantly legible: coach body, the sweep of a roofline, wheels beneath. It carries a great deal of association for very little detail — fairytales, weddings, Victorian streets, Christmas cards — and that is what earns it a place in a well-used drawer of cutters. Bakers reach for a shape like this for engagement and wedding spreads, for princess-themed children's parties, and for transport-themed batches alongside trains, buses and cars. It suits biscuit dough, fondant cake toppers and sugar paste for decorating the sides of a tiered cake. A single-file cutter, and a sensible one to run off when you need a dozen of the same shape and want every one of them identical.
