Description
The symbiote's head is one of the most recognisable shapes in comics: all jagged grin, oversized teeth and hollow, tapering eye-shapes stretched into a snarl. Reduced to keyring size it loses very little, because the design was always built on silhouette rather than fine detail. That makes it a sensible subject for something that lives in a pocket. It reads instantly at a glance, and it is quick enough to run off several when a birthday or a Christmas stocking needs filling. Comic readers usually recognise it before you have finished handing it over, which is most of the point of a keyring like this. It suits a bunch of keys, a zip pull, a rucksack clip or a bit of desk clutter with more character than the usual moulded plastic fob. A small, cheap print that gives back more than it costs.
