Anyone who has held a controller knows the outline — the round snout, the stubby arms, the shell-shaped saddle and that long tail curling out behind. Reduced to a cutting edge, the shape stays instantly readable in dough. It is aimed at birthday parties and gaming-themed bakes, where a tray of recognisable characters does more work than any amount of piping. Sugar biscuits, gingerbread and shortbread all take the shape well, and the cut outline gives decorators obvious areas to block in with royal icing or fondant.
