AA Battery Dispenser

Tame the drawer chaos of loose AA cells. This is a battery storage and dispenser set with a distinctly hive-like look. The main body is a rectangular caddy whose sides and lid are pierced with a bold honeycomb lattice, so you can see the cells stacked inside at a glance. Alongside it sits a cylindrical dispenser with a curved hinged door — also honeycomb-cut — that lets a battery roll out one at a time from the bottom while the stack feeds down under gravity. Together they turn a rattling drawer of loose AAs into a tidy, wall-friendly refill station. It's a practical household and workshop organiser: keep it on a shelf, screw the box to the inside of a cupboard door, or stand the dispenser by the remote-control drawer. The open lattice keeps weight and filament use down while still cradling the cells. Print notes: • Both parts print without supports if oriented open-face up; the hexagon bridges are short enough to span cleanly. • The hinged door may need a light chamfer or a drop of PTFE to swing freely — test-fit before gluing anything. • PLA is fine indoors; PETG if it'll live in a warm garage. • Print the dispenser tube first to check your AA diameter tolerance before committing to the full set.
