Description

A tough little green shell with exactly one job: stop something getting chewed. Printed here in bright PLA, the Antichomp Box is a compact two-part enclosure — a squat, rounded-corner body that meets a matching cap along a stepped seam, with a raised chevron/arrow motif pressed into the top and a slot opening at the lower front. The halves close over whatever you feed through that slot, so a cable, connector or small part sits protected inside a solid plastic housing instead of out in the open where teeth (pet, rodent or toddler) can reach it. It is a practical, unglamorous helper: guard a charger lead where the dog likes to lie, box up a vulnerable plug or splice, or repurpose it as a rugged stash for small odds and ends on a shelf or in a drawer. Print notes • PLA is fine for a shelf, but PETG or ABS holds up far better against real chewing and against heat near cables. • Print the two halves flat on their open faces — in that orientation the geometry is support-free. • Push the wall count and infill up (4+ perimeters, 30%+) so the shell actually resists a determined bite. • Dry-fit the seam first; a smear of glue or a short bolt run through the body makes the closure permanent once the cable is seated.
