Blaze the Dragon Phone Guardian

Blaze is a desk dragon with a job description. The idea behind it is an old and reliable one, since dragons have always guarded hoards, but the hoard has been quietly updated to the thing most of us now treat as treasure: the phone that gets set down beside the keyboard and picked up forty times a day. The guardian framing puts the character closer to watchful companion than rampaging monster, which is what lets it work on an office desk as easily as on a shelf at home. It sits in the same family as the small character pieces people collect one at a time, except that this one is meant to be doing something while it stands there.
