A rugged little field case that clips shut and keeps your small kit safe. This is a three-part latching box: a deep bottom tray, a matching lid, and a row of side latches that hook over catches moulded into the shell. The corners are softly rounded, the walls are ribbed for stiffness, and a recessed grip runs across the top edge like a mini equipment case. Four latch points down one side snap the lid firmly onto the body, so it holds its contents even when tipped or carried. It is a genuinely handy print for anyone who wants tidy, protective storage: drill bits and driver tips, SD cards and batteries, sewing notions, fishing tackle, model paints, or loose hardware on the workbench. The rugged tool-case styling means it looks the part on a shelf as well as in a drawer. Print notes • Print the bottom and lid flat, open-side up, for clean interior walls and no supports. • The latches are best printed flat on the bed; a couple of extra perimeters keeps the snap arms from snapping off. • PLA or PETG both work; PETG gives the latches a bit more flex and fatigue life. • Check the first latch fit before batch-printing and tweak your horizontal expansion if the snap is too tight or too loose. Scale the whole set up or down uniformly to build a nested family of cases in different sizes.
