A doorway with nothing left around it — the arch still standing while the walls that once carried it have come down. Ruined archways are one of the oldest shapes in decorative modelling because they read instantly: the eye fills in the building that used to be there, and the opening becomes a frame for whatever sits behind it. Filed under household, it works as a shelf piece or a mantelpiece prop, and it drops just as easily into a diorama or a scatter-terrain collection where a broken entrance gives a scene somewhere to lead the eye. The download comes as two files. Ruins carry an atmosphere that intact architecture never quite manages, which is why they turn up in Georgian garden follies as often as in gaming scenery.
