The inside face of a cupboard door is the most wasted surface in most kitchens and bathrooms. This one is designed to claim it — a shallow, open-fronted holder meant to hang on that flat panel and take the small things that otherwise get pushed to the back of a shelf and forgotten. Nothing about it is decorative. The open front keeps contents visible at a glance rather than found by rummaging, and the shallow depth is deliberate: a door-mounted holder has to live in the narrow gap between the door and whatever is already on the shelf behind it. Under the sink it takes cloths and brushes; in a kitchen wall unit, the sachets and fiddly packets; in a bathroom cabinet, the tubes and bottles that refuse to stand up on their own. It is one of a numbered series, so several can go behind the same run of doors without looking mismatched.
