Love and a little bit of macabre, folded into one palm-sized box. From straight on it is simply a plump, heart-shaped container; look closer and the lid resolves into a grinning skull, its face drawn entirely from clustered circles — big hollow eye sockets, a scatter of bubble-like holes across the cheeks and brow, and a row of stitched teeth along the bottom of the heart. Because the skull is cut clean through the white lid, the darker inner shell shows through the gaps, making the design pop in crisp two-tone. The set is a three-part build: an outer skull lid, an inner lid that seats it, and a base that forms the well. Lift the lid and you have a snug compartment for rings, earrings, guitar picks, dice, pills or folded love notes. It suits a Valentine's or anniversary gift with an edge, a goth or alt bedroom shelf, or a Halloween tabletop.
