Chunky spur gears that mesh straight off the print bed — no fettling required. Each cog has seven rounded lobed teeth wrapped around a solid hub, with a small central bore ready for an axle or shaft. The set ships as two files — a 6-tooth and an 8-tooth version, both cut to a 2mm module — so you can pair them for a step-up or step-down ratio, or mix and match into a longer train. These are working mechanical parts rather than ornaments: think replacement cogs, hand-crank toys, a kinetic desk fidget, or a classroom demo of how gear ratios actually behave. Print notes: • Lay each gear flat on the bed for the strongest tooth walls and the cleanest tooth profile • No supports needed — the geometry is fully bed-friendly • Bump infill to 30–50% for anything load-bearing • PETG or ABS resist wear far better than PLA in a moving mechanism • A touch of dry PTFE lube on the teeth quiets the mesh and cuts friction Because both files share the same module, they interoperate cleanly with each other and with any other 2mm-module gears you already have.
