Drawer High

A deep drawer is a worse place to keep things than a shallow one. Everything stacks, the top layer hides the rest, and you end up lifting three things out to find a fourth that was underneath all along. This is the tall-walled answer: a drawer insert with raised sides that holds its contents standing rather than letting them pile flat. Standing things on end is the whole trick. Utensils, pens and markers, batteries, brushes, small tools, spice jars, coiled cables — you see the row at a glance and lift out the one you want. It suits kitchen drawers, desk pedestals and workshop chests alike. It is a single file and a single part, and it repeats happily. Print more than one if a single lane will not cover the drawer you had in mind.
