Description

A minimalist bracket that stands your laptop on its edge and frees up the desk. The model is a single wave-profiled side support: a low, flat piece with a scooped channel cut into its top edge to cradle a closed laptop vertically, a broad foot at one end for stability, and a small triangular cut-out near the raised end that both lightens the part and gives your fingers a lift point. Printed as a pair, the two brackets hold a MacBook or slim notebook upright between them, keeping it cool and off the desktop while it charges or docks. This is the sort of quiet, useful desk accessory that disappears into a tidy workspace. It suits a home office, a hot-desk, or a shelf where a laptop lives closed most of the day, and the simple geometry takes paint, wood-fill, or a smooth matte finish nicely. Print notes • Print flat on the bed for maximum layer strength across the cradle; no supports needed. • You will want two copies for a working stand; mirror is unnecessary as the profile is symmetrical. • Line the cradle channel with a strip of felt or TPU to protect your laptop's finish and stop it sliding. • Bump the infill to 30-40% and add a few perimeters so the arms don't splay under the weight of a heavier machine. Widen the slot slightly in your slicer if your laptop is thicker than a typical ultrabook.
