Description

Keep the desk clutter standing to attention. Shown here as a deep-blue print, this is a slim, upright desktop caddy: a tall rectangular sleeve divided by two internal partition walls into a run of narrow vertical channels. The open top and generous depth are sized to swallow a notebook, a tablet or a fan of loose papers and hold them proud, rather than letting them slump flat across the desk. Straight outer faces and a squared base give it a clean, minimalist silhouette that sits happily on a home-office shelf, a study nook or a reception counter. Because the dividers run the full height, the slots stay usefully independent — file a slim A5 pad in one channel, park a phone, a few index cards or a small sketchbook in the next. It works as a standalone piece or as the "book stand" module in a wider modular desk-organiser system. Print notes: • Orient it base-down and it prints cleanly with no supports; the open top faces up so every slot comes out crisp. • The divider walls are relatively thin, so bump your perimeter count to 3–4 for a rigid, wobble-free result. • PLA is fine for a static desk piece; PETG adds a little toughness if it will be knocked about. • A 0.2mm layer height is plenty here — the geometry is all flat faces, so speed over fine detail. Unfussy, functional and quick off the bed, it is the kind of quiet upgrade that tidies a workspace without shouting about it.
