A phone spends most of its day face down on something, and a stand is the small correction to that habit. This is a desk-and-bedside cradle in the familiar upright arrangement: an angled back to lean against, an open face rather than a closed sleeve, and a shallow lower lip finishing the front edge. The styling is quiet and domestic rather than gadgety. It is a piece meant for a bedside table, a kitchen worktop next to whatever recipe is being followed, or the corner of a desk during calls, and it reads more as a small object of furniture than as an accessory. That restraint is the point, since a phone stand that draws attention to itself is a worse phone stand.
