Description

A no-nonsense access lid made to cover the hole nobody wants to see. "Tapa inspección" is Spanish for "inspection cover", and that is its whole job. The part is a thin, flat plate with an irregular rounded outline — a large lobed disc with a smaller lobe blended into it — and two small flat ears projecting from the edge, each pierced with a screw hole so the cover can be bolted down over an access opening. There is no ornament here; it is a purely functional closure, shown in plain green. The shaped profile suggests it is made to match a specific port or recess rather than a standard round hatch. It is the kind of replacement part you print when the original inspection cap on an appliance, meter box, cable trunking, or a plumbing/drainage fitting has cracked or gone missing. Print notes • Prints flat with no supports; a few solid top-and-bottom layers and 20–30% infill make it plenty stiff. • Print in PETG or ASA if it lives outdoors or near heat; PLA is fine for a dry indoor cover. • Measure your existing opening and the screw-hole spacing before printing, and scale if needed. • Add a chamfer or a smear of gasket sealant if you want it to sit flush and keep out dust or damp.
