Description
Mounted lancers in gas masks and storm coats, riding down an enemy line with hunting lances couched: the imagery is deliberately obsolete, and that is the whole point of the Krieg. A siege army bred for the trenches keeps its cavalry for the one job cavalry is still good at, which is arriving somewhere faster than anyone expected. The sculpts carry the regiment's signature look throughout, with greatcoats flaring over the saddle, respirator hoses looped at the collar, and the eyeless goggled stare of soldiers who are not expected to come back. The steeds are lean, barded animals at full stretch rather than parade mounts. With one hundred and twelve files, this is a large multi-part unit kit rather than a single rider, built as fast-attack cavalry for 28mm grimdark guard armies.
