Description

An Art-Deco skyscraper that climbs in dramatic setbacks to a stepped crown. This tower channels 1930s Manhattan: a broad base rises through a series of receding tiers, each corner buttressed by tall vertical fins and ribbon pilasters that pull the eye upward to a fluted, terraced summit. Deep window channels run the full height, throwing strong shadow lines and lending it that unmistakable cathedral-of-commerce verticality. It is a superb hero building for period city dioramas, 1920s-40s film-noir layouts, HO or N-scale railway downtowns, or simply a striking architectural desk piece. Its slender proportions make it a natural skyline anchor towering over the shorter blocks around it. Print notes: • Orient it upright on its footprint; the setbacks are self-supporting, so you can usually skip supports entirely. • The recessed window mullions are fine, so go 0.12 mm layers for crisp detail, or 0.2 mm if you plan to prime and airbrush. • It is tall and thin, so add a brim for bed adhesion and slow the upper spire down to avoid wobble. • It prints beautifully in stone-grey or bronze filament, and a dark wash pulls those vertical channels out dramatically.
