Industrial Bank Building (providence, Ri)

A miniature Art Deco skyscraper, stepped and spired like 1920s Manhattan. This is a scale architectural model of the Industrial Trust bank building in Providence, Rhode Island, a tiered tower that climbs through a series of setbacks to a slender, temple-topped spire. The model captures the whole massing: a broad base block, receding shoulders of window bays, buttressed corner piers and that unmistakable crowning lantern with its finial spike. Every face is gridded with regularly spaced windows, so even at small scale it reads instantly as a big-city high-rise. It suits HO and N-scale layouts, tabletop cityscapes, urban wargame boards, or simply a handsome architectural desk piece. Print notes • Print upright, exactly as shown, so the setbacks and window reveals stay crisp; the flat base sits straight on the bed. • The stepped silhouette mostly self-supports, but add light supports under the spire's overhangs and the deepest window recesses. • A 0.12-0.16 mm layer height keeps the mullions and cornice lines sharp; resin gives the finest detail. • For gaming or diorama use, prime grey and dry-brush stone tones, then a dark wash to pop the hundreds of window openings.
