Dog Tag

A classic bone-shaped name tag, ready to jingle from your dog's collar. The model is a clean, chunky dog bone with the two rounded knuckle ends you'd expect, and up top a small tab pierced with a round hole so it can hang from a split ring or clasp. Across the face, raised cursive lettering spells out a pet's name in a flowing script, standing proud of the surface so it stays legible even after a bit of wear. It is a practical little print for pet owners, maker stalls and personalised-gift sellers, quick to run off in a batch and easy to customise if you open the source and swap the name. Print it in a bright filament and it doubles as a charm, keyring fob or bag tag as much as a collar ID. Print notes: • Lay it flat on the bed, name-side up, so the raised script prints cleanly with no supports needed. • For crisp lettering use a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.12–0.16mm layer height; slow the outer wall speed for sharper edges. • A two-colour result is easy, pause the print at the base-layer height and swap filament so the name pops against the body. • PETG or ABS wears better than PLA for something that lives on a moving collar; add a small metal jump ring through the hole rather than trusting plastic alone.
