Dog Tag

A paw-shaped pet tag with a little personality of its own. This pendant is modelled as a rounded animal paw — one broad central pad with four toe beans arched across the top — and a punched hole through the upper toe for a split ring or collar clip. The main pad carries a raised, engraved emblem sitting proud of a recessed bordered panel, which gives it a polished, medallion-like presence when printed in a metallic finish. It makes a lovely custom pet ID tag, a collar charm, or a keyring fob for the dog- or cat-lover in your life. Print it in metallic filament for that jewellery feel, or in resin for the crispest engraving, then personalise it with your pet's name and number before it goes on the collar. Print notes: • Small part — print flat with the engraved face up and no supports; the hanging hole prints clean in this orientation. • Resin, or FDM with a 0.2mm nozzle, gives the sharpest edges on the recessed panel and raised emblem. • For a true metal look, use a silk or metallic PLA and polish it, or send the STL to a resin or metal print service. • Thicken the wall slightly or add a chamfer if it'll take daily wear jingling on a collar. Finish with a wax or clear coat to hold the shine, and thread it onto a sturdy split ring so it survives the wag-and-jingle of everyday walkies.
