Dwarven Ring 3

A broad band that looks hewn from a slab of dark bronze. This chunky ring wraps the finger in a faceted, low-poly relief — rows of angular chevron and shield-shaped facets stepping around the whole circumference, catching light along every sharp ridge. The metallic render reads like aged copper or blackened bronze, giving it a forged, mountain-hall look that earns the "dwarven" name. The interior is left smooth and comfortably rounded for wear. Print notes • Resin (SLA/DLP) is strongly recommended — the whole appeal is the crisp faceted edges, which FDM layer lines soften badly at ring scale. • Print it standing on the flat band edge, or angled with light supports on the inner wall to keep the outer facets pristine. • Scale carefully to your ring size before slicing; print a cheap test ring first to dial the fit, as resin can cure a touch tight. • For a real metal version, this pattern casts well via lost-wax — print in castable resin and hand it to a caster. • Finish with a metallic paint or rub-buff over a grey primer, then a dark wash pushed into the recesses and a highlight buff on the raised facets for a convincing forged-metal patina.
