Description

A bold signet blank, waiting for a crest that hasn't been carved yet. This is a substantial oval signet ring rendered here in warm bronze. The face is a broad, gently domed oval left completely smooth — a deliberate blank canvas for a monogram, family crest, single initial or a reverse-cut wax-seal design. What lifts it above a plain band is the shoulder work: instead of meeting the ring flatly, each side flares into a pair of sculpted, tapering grooves that sweep up toward the bezel like folded feathers, giving the head real presence on the finger. The band itself is a rounded, comfortable D-profile that thickens smoothly into those shoulders. It suits anyone after a proper statement piece — a pinky signet, a heraldic seal ring, or a personalised gift you finish with your own engraving. Because the top is unornamented, it's equally at home as a starting point for jewellers who want to hand-engrave or laser the face themselves. Print notes: • Resin (SLA/DLP) gives the crispest shoulders and a glassy bezel; size the model to a UK/US ring gauge before slicing. • Print band-upright or bezel-up with light supports under the overhanging head, then wet-sand the face flat ready for engraving. • The solid form burns out cleanly, so it also works as a lost-PLA / lost-resin master for casting in silver, brass or bronze. Leave the oval plain for a minimalist look, or treat it as a base for your own seal.
