Skull Ring Bullet

Memento mori for the hand, a skull you can actually wear. This chunky signet-style ring is dominated by a sculpted human skull: its cranium mapped with weathered suture cracks and gouged, eroded bone, deep hollow eye sockets, and a set of gritted teeth along the lower jaw. The dome of the skull forms the face of the ring while a smooth, comfortable band sweeps back to close the circle. It carries a biker / gothic / heavy-metal attitude without ever tipping into the cartoonish. Print & cast notes • This wants an SLA/DLP resin printer; the crack detail and tooth line are far too fine for most FDM nozzles. • Print at an angle with the band as an arch and supports on the underside and inner ring, so the sculpted face stays untouched. • Using castable resin? It's ready for lost-wax casting into silver or bronze, add your sprue at the base of the band. • Confirm sizing before you commit: scale the whole model uniformly to your target US/UK ring size and test a cheap band first. • On cast metal, sink a dark oxidised patina into the recesses then polish the high points of the skull back to a shine.
