Space Marine Elites Unit

Every grimdark army list keeps a slot for the veterans — the ones who have outlived enough campaigns to earn heavier armour, rarer wargear and a certain latitude in how they go about a fight. That is the tier this model is pitched at: a superhuman in ceramite, a century or two into a career of it, made as a proxy for the elite choices in a far-future infantry force. At the usual 28mm heroic scale it sits beside standard battleline troops without looking out of place, while carrying the extra bulk and ornament that mark an elite unit apart across a crowded table. This is a single-file model, which makes it an easy addition when a list needs one more specialist rather than a whole new unit. Useful to army builders topping up an existing force, and to painters after a subject worth an evening of detail work.
