Description
A brooding monolithic tower with a machined, almost sci-fi face. Rendered in near-black, this square-section pillar rises from a stepped, layered plinth up to a slab-topped crown. Each face is worked differently: one carries stacked horizontal ridges like ventilation louvres, another a tall recessed panel, a third a hexagonal medallion set above a raised rectangular plate, and a pair of half-round vertical tubes climbs one corner like conduits or downpipes. The effect lands somewhere between an industrial chimney stack, a control spire and a monument obelisk. It works as a centrepiece for a sci-fi or industrial diorama, a landmark on a wargame table, or a standalone printed sculpture. Print notes: • The stepped base gives a rock-solid footprint — print it upright, no supports needed, on FDM or resin. • Because it is tall and narrow, add a brim if the first layers lift, and slow the top layers to keep the crown crisp. • The recessed panels and hex medallion take a wash beautifully: base dark grey, drybrush the raised edges steel, then pool a black wash into the grooves. • Scale it up as a desk monolith or down as tabletop scenery to taste.
