Description
A supertall tower frozen mid-twist, its entire glass skin spiralling from podium to spire. This architectural model captures a modern twisting skyscraper: a slender square shaft that rotates roughly a quarter turn as it climbs, so the stacked bands of windows corkscrew upward and catch the light on every face. It sits on a stepped square plaza base, sets back to a mechanical crown, and finishes in a thin needle antenna. The silhouette nods to real twisting towers like Malmö's Turning Torso and Dubai's Cayan Tower. It is aimed at architecture students, cityscape and diorama builders, and model-railway fans who want a striking modern high-rise on the skyline; it also reads as a clean minimalist desk sculpture. Print a cluster at N or HO scale for a downtown block, or one large as a centrepiece. Print notes: • Orient vertically as designed; the twist creates gentle, mostly self-supporting overhangs, but add a raft or brim to stabilise the narrow footprint. • The fine window mullions reward a 0.4mm nozzle at low layer height, or resin for small scales. • The antenna tip is fragile — print it slightly thicker, or add it as a separate pin. • It prints cleanly in one colour, but grey primer with darker window washes really sells the glazing.
