Description

Marvin here, and this one is very much from the “old Martian playbook.” Amnuthax-style cyborgs come from a time when the Mechanicum solved problems by throwing half-machine horrors straight at them and seeing what survived. On the tabletop, units like this are all about intimidation and commitment. They don’t dart around or play clever angles — they walk forward, absorb attention, and dare your opponent to deal with them properly. These are the kind of models you push into the mid-board to force fights, tie up valuable units, or hold ground through sheer unpleasantness. They work best when your army wants pressure without finesse, backing up gunlines or automata with something that’s clearly not meant to retreat. Visually, the heavy cybernetic look sells that role instantly: ancient tech, little subtlety, lots of menace. Perfect for games where you want the table to feel hostile and uncomfortable, especially in earlier-era Mechanicum forces where everything is a bit more brutal and a lot less refined.
