Apothecary Space Marine Proxy Miniature

Among power-armoured warriors the Apothecary has the strangest duty on the field. He walks the aftermath of a battle not to kill but to harvest, cutting the gene-seed from fallen brothers so the chapter can make more of them. That grim errand shapes the sculpt: a marine bristling with medical apparatus, one gauntlet turned into a surgeon's tool, racks of vials and canisters carried where another would hang grenades. He is a support figure rather than a line trooper, the model you tuck in behind a squad and quietly depend on, which also makes him a natural centrepiece for a small display base as well as a 28mm heroic-scale tabletop piece. Painters tend to treat an Apothecary as the exception within a force, with markings and iconography set apart from the rank and file, so this one usually earns more brush time than the squad around him.
