Shock infantry are the models that get looked at. They end up mid-board, in contact, with everyone leaning over the table to see how the combat went, and that is precisely where a rank of identical helmets gives itself away. These head bits are cut for that squad: the sealed, heavy-plated helms of power-armoured troops who close the distance and finish a fight with chainblade and pistol. It is a large bits set rather than one alternate helmet, so there is scope to vary an entire squad and still hold spares back for the next conversion project, whether that means a battered veteran, a sergeant who ought to look different from his troopers, or general stock for the bits box. Aimed squarely at kitbashers and army builders at tabletop wargaming scale who would rather individualise a unit than field it as a uniform block.
