Battle-line troops for a crusading chapter, these are the rank and file an army gets measured against. Intercessor-pattern marines carry bolt rifles and hold ground, and in Templar hands that job comes with a good deal more zeal attached — this is a force built on vows, oaths and a flat refusal to give up a step of ground. A squad like this is the backbone purchase. You print several, rank them up, and the collection starts to look like an army rather than a scatter of characters. The set arrives as a multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale, which gives proxy builders and kitbashers a squad's worth of material to work through. Good as a first unit, better as the third or fourth, when the crusade finally starts filling out.
